Aloha Daryl,

Thanks for the offer. I'll definitely take you up on it! When I read this email during the trip last week, I had a shit-eating grin on my face for the rest of the trip.

During this trip, I busted my camera's tripod mount. Apparently, the recoil is too great for it (the design appears to be weak anyway...). It came off after I took a shot at a parrotfish. So if you do decide to try yours, make sure the tripod mount is steady.

Here's a few pictures from the trip:

1. Stone-shot on parrotfish with my 50"
2. Another stone-shot with the 50. I shot this guy at the end of my breath-hold at a depth slightly beyond my comfort-zone. He ran out of a hole in a hurry so I only had a second to take aim. The whole time, I was praying for a head shot because it would be hell trying to keep him from holing up at the state I was in. Imagine my relief when he rolled over the moment the shaft hit his skull. What a fantastic gun.
3. Can you guess where I got inspiration for this pose?
